So I'm not sure if this happens to anyone else, but it does to me:

Whenever I comment on a thread, it automatically watches it for me: which can be really annoying, as I recieve dozens of alerts that are people commenting on a thread I didn't want to watch.

I know I could just click 'unwatch thread' but I think it could be more efficient for it to say
"Watch this thread?" After you post, and you could click yes, or no.

      Thanks for reading! :)

you only get an alert for the first unread reply. I don't really mind it but I don't care either way

Ooh savage. :p Okay, but I think that it's even more annoying that it automatically watches it for me.

      Okay, thanks :)

I think adding something like that would be quite annoying... similar to having to close an Ad pop-up repeatedly.

Since opinions on this topic may vary, I suggest making it so there is an option that allows each individual user to enable and disable 'automatic thread watching'.

I also found this very annoying, so I disabled it in settings.

Curious, is it possible to disable 'automatic thread watching', or just alerts received from comments on watched threads?

No support. It will be very annoying to me, and personally I don't get that many alerts anymore, so it doesn't really affect me :)
