You actually have some good points that you pointed out, thankyou. I understand that everyone on OP is toxic therefore we don't want toxic mods and that there are a lot of hackers, and clients are getting stronger which is fair enough but mods could always ip ban the obvious hackers that B-Hop etc. If the owners would really care about the server they would buy a decent anti-cheat considering most of the money they get from people donating (I think there is over 100 titan donors, 200$ for the rank.) Overall, Thankyou for your opinion.
Support for most of it... -I know that oppvp is old and needs a new map, but personally, I love the map we have, I think it's perfect, A new spawn would be great though. -Auzzii is not the only mod to play oppvp, you are just most likely on a different timezone than the other mods. -They can't just screen share every hacker, that would take forever, and if you are banned for hacking, then you are most likely hacking. - i'm sure they have seen maps people have offered, but didn't like them.. it's not like they were too lazy. We definitley do need AntiCheat though. You can literally fly on this server.
I know that the mods don't have to screenshare all the hackers they ban, but maybe just some of the hackers that hide and they toggle. ReaperPvPz has been false banned over 50 times now for 'hacking' and myself has been false banned 8 times for 'hacking.' Yes I agree with the map it is alright but if they could make an effort to get a new one it would be cool, but mainly the spawn because so many people have tried make a spawn that everyone likes and everyone will enjoy and there has been some, but the mods and owners don't check them out. (That's what I see off course)
1. True, but hackers have alts, and sometimes they can roam for days. I can agree that a lot of hackers do get banned, but that doesn't fully stop them. 2. I used to play OP a lot and I would hardly see mods on. I know this because I have a REALLY bad habit of constantly pressing tab and I pay attention to chat a lot. I feel like if a mod does come on any Mineverse server, they should make themselves known so players know that they're online. 3. I've played Mineverse for a long time as well, and over the past year I've noticed that OP gets a lot of lag spikes at times. I know it's the server because I'm not the only one complaining in chat (most of the time). 6. The devs can try making a custom anti-cheat, it may take awhile, but the gains will totally be worth it. 7. Every mod SHOULD have teamspeak, in my opinion. Screen sharing should be a thing, it would be easier to catch ghost hackers, which are very hard to catch in the first place. If anything, ghost clients ruin the game more than anything, because they hardly get caught, and they rule the server. 8. I agree that a huge portion of the OP community is toxic, but not everyone is. People like Max, Unknown, AgentWifi and Panda played OP and obviously they're not toxic, because they are/were mods on here. I think Mineverse could use a nontoxic person from OP on the staff team, so OP can get more attention. You make a lot of good points here, as you are a former mod, but I wanted to express what I see/think about OP.
If you are suggesting these things to be implemented, request to move it to suggestions. Discussion is for group conversations, like talking about topics, interests, etc.
B hoppers are easy to kill. You just need a decent aim that isn't like a 4 year old trying to colour between the lines.
Mods Don't even screenshare. I made a sugestion about adding screenshare so mods could ss if a plyers is sketchy. You know what they said : No support if we add this the mods cant do their normal job.
Screening sharing should really become something staff do, believe or not, there are people who use ghost clients, and they ruin the game for everyone else. Screen sharing is not the best method to catching ghost clients, but the addition of freezing players can help out as well. I think screen sharing should be PART of a mod's normal job.
See this thread. It has been up on the forums for a very long time now and how many mods/owners have looked at this? From the amount of support that this thread has gotten I think the owners should be trying to make a difference not just keeping the server up for money. It has gotten to a point on OP PvP that the lag is at its worse, whenever I'm chasing someone I have to be inside their body to hit them and I'm sure others have the same problem. Whenever I come on OP PvP I now see a very very little number of players playing on it and all my friends that I have been talking to for 2-3 years now have all quit due to the fact that it is very laggy now and that no mods/owners care, the mods/owners just go off on their own and play another server within Mineverse. I am begging the owners to step up their game if they really want this server going further into the future. I made a 50$ bet with my friend that Mineverse will be going down at the end off 2016 because the amount of people that are quiting. Please step it up a couple of steps because Mineverse is falling behind other servers, fix the lag and the server in general, read the problems I listed on the first page. Thankyou
