Name changing - previous name?

I'm andrewswj, and I'm here to suggest something for the name changing option that is available on forums. For example, @Maemii and @Pokings , both Moderators, have changed their names from Vanishment and NoMoreSanity respectively. Before asking them what names they had before (Since I did not recognise their new names, since they had changed their profile pictures too), I did not know who they were based on their names.

So, my suggestion is to have something like this, where your previous name would be displayed beside your current forums name in a small print in your profile page.
E.g. If I change my name to Andrewjws,
It would be:
Andrewjws Andrewswj

 

But there's already a section that says "previous names" I don't think it's necessary..

 

No support. This probably isn't easy to implement and it's quite easy to recognize someone even if they changed their name.
