Inactive Survival - Claims Disappeared

Okay so I come back from having not really played on the server that much (or Minecraft at all for that matter) only to find that some of mine and my brother's claims have disappeared and as you can imagine, they have been destroyed/claimed by others. To be honest, i'm not overly bothered, its just a game, however is a little annoying. Most of my stuff is safe, however I did lose a bit. I'd like to know if anything can be done about this, if not (which i expect will be the case) it doesn't matter however would like to know why this happened and if it could happen again.

How long have you been gone? It sounds as if the server counted you as a player that doesn't play anymore. Thus it deleted your claims. If you didn't leave for a long time then it's a glitch. But if you were gone for a long time there isn't anything anyone can do except give you some of their stuff. I don't think the server has any plugins to see what you had without doing a rollback.

 

I don't remember exactly the last time I played on Mineverse, however if it was deleting my claims for the reason you mentioned, it seems odd that it only deleted a few of my claims. Also I know people that haven't gone on the server for longer than me and their claims were perfectly fine.

 

Wait, wait, wait, so some of your claims survived and others didn't?

 

Yup, It was mainly my brothers claims but it happened to one of mine as well.

 

Contact a mod about this. If there were certain claims missing from one single account (yours) then something is wrong. @Swift

Okay so:
You would need proof.
I'm pretty sure you would be fine if you changed usernames.
You might have accidentally unclaimed?
And maybe (if there is a max amount of claims) you went over it.
But the main thing is proof and that you aren't just trying to get revenge or steal somebody's else's claims.

Because you tagged a mod which can't do anything with this, mods Almost 100% of the time can't fix a glitch/problem

 

@MeJake Roughly how long have you been away from the Survival gamemode? I know I didn't log on for 2 months and my claims survived, but I'm not sure how long they would survive for...
