The moderator applications require that you have 50+ posts. But what counts as a post?

 

Under your name it says "messages"
that is the post count :p

 

So as of now you have 67.

 

If you post in a section on forums (besides off topic or profile posts) it gives you a message.

 

Your post count is made up by posts in the following threads;
News and announcements
Change Log
Introductions
Discussions
Suggestions
Moderator applications
Ban Appeals
Reports
Help

However Posting with out reason just to boost your post count will result in the deletion of your posts and a mute or ban depending on the severity of your post farming.
