100% no support. This would open the door to far many problems, a few basic ones might be; - IP retrieving - Hassle - Lots of dependencies - Following the one above, not everyone will be willing to install all the dependencies and get a fully working screen share application. A lot of computers may also lag when screen sharing, which causes a whole new problem. - More.
Maybe on windows however if someone is using a mac they can delete it and edit anything in the .minecraft folder while it is being used.
That's true, at the top of the client it does state which version of Minecraft you are using. I personally use 1.8, therefore all of my versions, including "illegal" clients are also within 1.8. This still wouldn't mean I use them, so surely they can't just ban because of your files?
Still claiming it was blackmail? I said if you don't screenshare me to prove you were not hacking you would be banned. Totally avoidable if you screenshared me.
https://gyazo.com/06402b94afa56a0575e4cb87a6a69ed2 Totally not blackmail. Staff like you are the reason screensharing is not a thing. Good thing I was recording.
no support way too inconvenient n a hassle not everyones gonna dl jus for the sake of proving themselves innocent tbh a lil over the top just to confirm hacking if someones innocent then u just wasted their time its like goin thru customs at the airport bc u seemed suspicious but u really werent doin anything i understand why airports do it however annoyin it is bc safety n w/e a minecraft server tho? nah unnecessary n annoyin
HOLY *****888 BRO YOU REALIZE THERE IS AN UNDELETE BUTTON, STOP RESPONDING YOU'RE POSTS ARE SO ANNOYING.
Lol nobody understands this. This is a feature that is in Teamspeak and Skype. When hackers are caught, they are just banned by mods. But sometimes people falsely hackusate and sometimes people who or not hacking get banned. Adding screensharing would make it so Moderators could get in touch with the accused players, and check if they are really hacking or not. Oh and also Support.
I wanna clear this up to people who have probably never played minecraft pvp competitively or hcf servers ( or something along those lines. ) The screenshare is not to find regular hacked clients like metro, huzuni and wurst (hopefully the mods can tell what that looks like without a ss) the ss is to find ghost clients. For those of you who dont know what a ghost client is, ghost clients are hacked clients of course. However, they are designed to make a player look legit while playing. These clients could be disguised as forge mods, such as optifine or toggle sneak or just randomly hid somewere in your computer. In order for the screenshareto work out you would have to teach the mods the size file of each mod, were people normally hide their clients. Most ghost client are not in your minecraft folder. You hide it somewere in your pc and the majority of ghost clients like vape and incognito are injection
No Support, just record someone if you think they hack, if you can't get footage, then they arent hacking enough for anyone to really care. And personally I don't feel like getting ddosed.
