How would this work for people like me? I resigned the first time, so would I still get the tag? Or would I not since I was demoted the second time
Support. I agree that they should get more appreciation, especially the ones who moderated for a really long amount of time & were dedicated.
You resigned the first time, therefore, you would have gotten whatever it was from the time you moderated then. I don't really know what they could add for us. I personally never really expected anything apart from a thank you, though I never got one from Cyp. Or any recognition as mod from him at all.

That's because top voters contribute more to the server than the mods. /s I didn't mind the "thank you" message. I just hope that I met everyone's expectations during my time as a mod. Don't think a title would hurt, so support.
Support I like the idea of having a rank on forums/in game like {Retired} or something like that, but it shouldn't come with anything, it would just be a rank for show.
I already mentioned this in the suggestion. I know this, but I still think some form of recognition for their hard work is needed. You got demoted last time, so I suppose not.
I suppose it could apply to those who were demoted as well, though this is really focused on those who leave the staff team for entirely different reasons.
