This new filter is giving me an illness.

We, as a community, asked for the filter to be less strict. What do we get? The worst filter imaginable.

Have to wait ''1 second to type''. Which for many is a pain. People can't type their name anymore. Even though there is nothing wrong with it.

We can't even type ''wtf''. Like...WTF? (irony intended)

Lesbian is also blocked now. Didn't need to happen.


So uhm yeah tell me your thoughts and opinions about it.

 

I told Cyp yesterday that wtf should be taken out, he said no. Also the 1 second delay is pretty aids. What do you mean by "People can't type their name anymore. Even though there is nothing wrong with it." ? when we were testing yesterday i didnt see any problems with names.

 

This girl has like something with anal in her name unintentionally. Can't type her own name.

 

There was a guy with the word "Saturday" in it so every time someone tried type his name it would be filtered only because it had the word "turd" in it. O_o

 

This filter is unnecessarily strict. I get the whole ''child friendly'' concept but most players are teenagers.

 

I honestly dislike the filter. People ask "Can a staff assist me?" and then the word gets filtered even my name is filtered (Cassie) which is annoying.

 

You can't even say muffin anymore

 

Something else I noticed. To prevent advertisement we can no longer used .com. How are staff members supposed to type ''Email [email protected] for your donation inquiry?''. I understand it's in the chat automated thing. But people ignore that a lot.

 

There was a new filter installed last night. There are always bugs and kinks with anything new that is installed. I don't know how strict it will end up being but Im sure it will be tweaked some, if possible.

 

I hope it's better than the old one.

 

The filter has been an issue for months. These aren't simple ''bugs''. It's unnecessary. Plain and simple.

In my opinion, the old Mineverse without the filter was way better.

 

I've always disliked the filter. You can't even type the names of very common Minecraft blocks, such as Grass or Glass. The funny thing is, it's mostly children that are trying to say the words that should be filtered.

 

You can't tell someone to place down a grass or glass block anymore. It's pretty annoying.

 

Can you list all the problems (Please test before listing the problem..) in this thread or create a new thread in suggestions.

This plugin is new.. I'll try my best to not make it extremely strict.

 

Who's idea was it to even add a filter? Lol.

 

/fix is a big thing on factions. I hate how you can't repeat a command twice, And it's a 1 second cool down.

 

It's mostly children that play MC, so I mean.

That is a big one. I'll test a few things and see what comes out.
