I hosted a competition a few weeks ago, and I thought it went well except that only 4 people competed and @Methylone absolutely destroyed everyone. The thread can be found here: http://www.mineverse.com/threads/parkour-competition.94042/ Last time I did the competition on the /parkour gamemode and it was good to use, but it didn't really test true parkour skill, and what I mean is that memorization of each course gave people an advantage, which I didn't like, so this time there will be 6 levels, and I will be making them myself. Instead of scoring, I'm going to host it just like American Ninja Warrior, for those who haven't seen it, there are 6 rounds/courses. Qualifying, City Finals, Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3 and Stage 4. For the qualifying and finals courses, anyone who finishes the course moves on to the next round, if not all the spots are filled (exact number will be determined later), then the people who went the farthest the fastest will move on to the next round. For Stage 1 and 2, you have to complete the stage in a time limit in order to advance, if you fall or are too slow, they you'll eliminated. For stage 3, all you have to do is finish the course, there is no time limit Stage 4 has a time limit and you have to make it to the top before time runs out and any other people (if there are any) to win. So in short, this is an elimination style competition. I will not be offering prizes this time, as I don't have anything good to give.
