Listen up, before you lock this for 'Flame wars' or something like that, I want to try get something cleared up.

So as you know someone is known as @BanAppeal. I thought they were an alt, so I kindly told them on their profile that they shouldn't post outside their appeal. A staff member got up my case and told me to stop acting like a staff member.
Mini-modding is legal as far as I am aware, it's just considered annoying. So I replied with that, so they said 'I warned you' then deleted the post on BanAppeal's profile. I then put a status saying 'Inb4 I get punished for mini-modding' which in no way was unnecessary, or rude. I got told not to post unnecessary posts like that, so the staff member does the exact same thing. They then muted me and I had the best argument ever. While I was muted, I changed my location to what it is now, but they changed it, as it was 'unnecessary and rude'. Here's the conversation, I'm not exposing the staff member, despite lots of people knowing who did this. Half the server knows how triggered I was.
Then before I know it, I'm banned.
First of all, I broke no rules on my profile. If I made my location to "____ should die!" or something, that'd be reasonable. As for my status, I was telling people in advance why I was going to be punished.

I really don't mean any disrespect, but I really wanted to clear something up. If I get banned for this thread, so be it. I'm having my freedom of speech.

TL;DR: Mini-modding is legal, it's just considered annoying.

PS: I'm risking my ban history for this speech to be brought out.

It's the staff's job to tell a player not to post outside of the appeal, not another player.

It gets annoying having players trying to intervene in it all, personally, I saw no issue with it.

    For the mute, lol.
Deleting it and leaving it at that would have been more substantial.

    **My opinion**

    Yeah, meant that.
Don't see why they muted you for it, deleting it does enough.

They were gonna delete it anyway, but if I tell the truth, I argued about it.

I feel like that isn't the whole story, but if it is, then the mute seems completely unfair. Mini modding isn't illegal and never should be. You don't need a mod title to let people know what the rules are.

Your ban/mute isn't something that needs to be publicly discussed. Of course people will side with you that the punishment was out of hand when you sugar coat the story like this.

You can make a thread about mini-modding and discuss it all you want, but don't make it about your ban.

    Closing.
