Here are some notes before you read this: My name is Andrew, my aunts name is Jenny, my dads name is Jason, my mom is dead :'( and this is one of the most heart touching days of my entire life. Hey guys, many of you do not know me but many of you do. Yesterday and counting today was one of the most terrifying yet wondrous decisions and days of my life. I am 14 years old and yesterday, precisely 11:43 p.m. I had a stroke. Many of you are going to think something is wrong with this kid, he is fat and that is why he had a stroke but I am in very well condition. I do not dedicate my life to electronics, I have been playing football for 4 years and in very well shape. Anyways, so I was about to go to the bathroom to go and pee but as I got out of my bed I got very dizzy and could not see one thing clearly. I tried going back to my bad and banged my head on a dresser. I was passed out for about 3 hours before I had arrived at the E.R (Emergency Room.) I woke up and my arms couldn't move. Most people say strokes only happen to females for their hormones differences but as I was fading away literally about to die and this is not a lie, I was struck in a breathing tube and had an I.V. stuck in my arm. More than 2 to 3 hours later I woke up the doctors told me I am going through a very ill phase in which I cannot panic and if I do so than I will be putting my self in a very bad position. I had to sit there and stare at the ceiling of a hospital room for an hour before my dad came in and told me that my aunt had gone in to labor with another boy. This would be her second child and my new cousin. I did not what so ever want to miss the opening of my new cousins eyes. She was having labor in the very same hospital that I had been sitting in for hours so I told the doctors to let me out and I was screaming and yelling, begging and pleading to let me out but they refused as under law. I then gained all feeling in my body and manually removed everything as they went to go check on a patient. When I got up I was very dizzy and could not walk straight and as soon as I was going to open the door a nurse walked in with my new baby cousin in an incubator (which keeps babies alive right after birth) right to me. She then panicked and put me right back in the bed. She brought the baby over and told me his name was Caleb. Caleb was smiling, no tears and he sat there with me while my aunt and family came in to see. It's been a time I will never forget.
Wow that's deep.... glad you're ok and strokes can happen anytime to anyone for many different reasons like blood cut off to the brain temporarily.
Thanks and yes indeed they can happen to anyone for any reason but studies show 90% more woman have it then men. The reason of my stroke was a blood loss in my brain do to clogged veins and arteries. They don't know why my blood clotted up.
This is actually touching... I appreciate people sharing their life stories, as sometimes it is hard. Thank you.
Thanks Beef, by the way my cousin is very healthy. He is doing good, they are going to be in the hospital for a few days though.
Wow, hope you're okay! And little kids are so cute, glad that you got to spend some time with your little cousin. It's very touching.
Hope you're feeling alright now, and that Caleb's doing well. We're all glad you shared a story like this; takes courage as it's not exactly small talk. Thanks.
