What is Skywars? Skywars is a game that takes pvp to the skies. You will be forced to battle other players on skyblock-looking islands with only 1-2 and the resources on your island. Your goal is to win the game by taking out every other player. You are also able to use your cash to buy things that may help you succeed. Will you be one to rule the sky and someone who will gain respect from many? Basic Things In Chests Here is a list of basic things you'll need that are in chests. Tools - Tools are a useful thing to grab in your island. Even if they are only wooden or stone, they could be your only weapon. They are also useful when trying to gather building blocks. Armor - Armor is essential to grab as you could easily be killed with a bow if you don't have any. Usually your chest will contain some pieces of armor whether it'd be a chestplate, boots, leggings, or helmet. This is also helpful when try to defeat a player with a better weapon. Food - Food may not seem important, but it is very important. It doesn't matter if its a cookie or 5 pieces of bread. This is essential to surviving. No Food = No Regeneration. Building Blocks - Building blocks could be wooden planks, dirt, cobblestone, and sometimes tnt (not recommended). I wouldn't use dirt unless it was your only choice because dirt is not as strong as cobblestone. You could accidentally kill yourself if you break a block underneath you. No only that but some people have their volumes up, so if your trying to sneak attack them, just know, dirt makes quite a loud noise when placed. This means people are more likely you hear you building. Ice/Water - This is good to use as it can save you from falling. Use it while building and if you get knocked off, you can swim back up. Lava/Water - Lava and water can also be very useful. Lava buckets can be used to drop lava down on people to burn them. Water can be used to remove the burn effect if someone else does it to you. Bow and Arrows - A bow can be used to shoot people off their islands and bridges. It is much more accurate than eggs and snowballs. If someone doesn't have a chestplate, try to shoot them first. Flint and Steel - Why not? It can be used to set off TNT as well as set players and blocks on fire. Don't Here are some things you shouldn't do. Build a bridge with no walls as someone can knock you off in one shot if you do not build walls. Go to the middle of the map with bad weapons or armor, unless you are the first person there. Hack. If you lose do not go to hacking. You'll eventually get the hang of it and start winning games. Tips Here are some tips to help you win the game. If a someone already got to the middle of the map before you, don’t worry! There is still a good chance that you can kill them. Try to sneak up on them when they are looking through a chest. This way you'll surprise them and have a good chance of killing them. When you start the game, look through your chest right away. Then try to develop a strategy with the stuff you have. You usually have 2 options. You can wait for the people to come to you, or you can build right to the middle of the map. I usually wait for some players to die, then I go to the middle. Wallet/Money Whenever you go into a skywars game, try to do /shop. This will then show you a menu/gui of a bunch of items. You may be wondering of why some of this items on in the menu/gui. Someone of these items of different abilities. I will add some screenshots and information later ;). To learn how much money you have, do /bal or /balance. This will show you how much money you have.
